Airport Arrival Pickup to take to the Mauna Lani

  1. Look for uniformed staff wearing pink, who will be waiting for you as you exit security. If you don't see the sign right away, no worries—just head to baggage claim, and they will find you there.
  2. They will escort you to baggage claim to help with your luggage. 
  3. They will escort you to your transfer. Their porters will take care of your luggage and load it onto the transfer vehicle. The drive to the Auberge, Mauna Lani, will take about 35-45 minutes
  4. If you are staying offsite, separate transportation has been arranged for your pickup and transit to Mauna Lani.

    • Options for light breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be available in the Francis Brown Suite.
    • You will be welcome to use the suite to work, hang out with fellow guests and relax until your transportation to the airport.

Travel & Logistics

What do I do if I can't find my luggage or it's delayed?

If you're having trouble locating your bag(s), let the transportation company know, and they will assist you in filing a claim. Please note, you must be present to file the initial delayed bag form. The transportation staff will follow up on any lost luggage while you are still at the airport, and the airline will arrange for delivery to your hotel once the bags are found.

What is included in the trip?

Your flights, accommodations, planned event meals, and scheduled activities are fully covered. You’ll also have access to the resort’s amenities.

When is the departure transportation?

Your bags need to be ready 1 hour ahead of your scheduled departure time. Please ensure the bags are packed up by the front door for the hotel staff to pick them up or take them down to the lobby yourself.

A calendar invite has been sent to each person with their departure time. Please let us know if your schedule changes for personal reasons. Our team is watching flight times closely and will adjust as needed.

What if I need to change my flight?

Any costs associated with changes to your travel arrangements are determined by the reason of the change. To request a covered change expense, email Jeanette Doyle.

How will I get to the resort?

Airport transfers are provided. Upon arrival at Kona International Airport (KOA), you will be greeted by a transportation service that will take you to Mauna Lani.

Local transfers are provided. We will provide your pickup time and then picked up by a transportation service that will take you to Mauna Lani.

Accommodations & Activities

Are meals included?

All planned event meals are covered, including group dinners and breakfast/lunch events included on the itinerary above at the resort. All individual meals are at the expense of the individuals.

Is there a dress code?

The general dress code is resort casual (light, breathable clothing). Bring comfortable attire for excursions, swimwear for the beach, and two outfits for a group dinner (business casual or island chic).

Waterfall Hike Excursion:

Closed Toe Shoes REQUIRED. Bring a Towel (provided by Hotel at departure). Wear swim suit under clothes if planning to swim. No changing facilities available. Sun gear, hat & a light jacket

UTV Adventure:

Guests should wear adventure clothing (that you don't mind getting dirty) such as long sturdy pants and long-sleeved shirt. Closed-toe shoes are required. Please bring a light jacket and sunscreen.

Snorkel Cruise:

Guests should wear swimsuits under clothing. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and a cover up or windbreaker. Hotel to provide towels at departure.

Deep Sea Fishing: 

Guests should dress comfortably and wear closed-toe “boat” shoes. Please bring a hat, sunglasses and a light jacket. Towels optional.
